Is Babycompare a shop?

No, we are not a shop. We are a price comparison shopping website. We help you to get the best deals, by comparing the prices of retailers for you. We research millions of products and thousands of suppliers so you don’t have to.

Once you decide you would like to buy a product, you click through directly to the supplier’s website. You will deal directly with the retailer after that stage. If you have any problems with an order you should contact the supplier directly.

Does Babycompare search all retailers on the web?

No. Efficiently comparing prices from all shops on the web would be very difficult. Instead, we work with a wide range of retailers.  If you are interested in products listed and you click through to the supplier’s site, the supplier pays us a small referral fee. There is no cost to you as a user. If you can find a better price elsewhere, we’d love to hear about it! We are constantly looking for new retailers to join Babycompare, and if we find a supplier that has better offers than those on our site, we contact them and try to include them on Babycompare.

What does Babycompare do if I have a problem with a retailer or travel supplier listed on the site?

We always keep an eye on our customers’ feedback. If we get complaints about a particular supplier, we’ll look into whether we should continue to list them or not and, if necessary, we can remove sites while they sort out the problems at their end. If you have a complaint, you can report it to our “contact us page”. If your complaint is about a claim or statement made in a listing which you think could be misleading or illegal, you can also report it to the Advertising Standards Authority

Please note Babycompare cannot enter into any discussions between yourself and a supplier about goods you’ve purchased from them.

 

How frequently are the prices updated?

The prices on our site are updated up to 4 times daily to ensure you are always seeing the best deals. The retailers we list promise us that all the information they provide about the product for sale, including the price, is accurate and up to date. They have a duty to update the information if it is inaccurate and it is very rare that the prices for a product will differ between our site and the supplier’s website. If you discover a discrepancy, please let us know because we only wish to list suppliers that deliver on their promises.

What is included in the price displayed?

Suppliers on our site are required to display the cost of the item and any postage and packaging costs (P&P costs) separately. Prices displayed include any applicable taxes and fees.

How does Babycompare make money?

When you see a product you are interested in and you click through to the retailer or travel supplier’s site, the supplier pays us a small referral fee. With the money we make from these referral fees we regularly invest back into our websites to make our service better for you, our customers.

I've completed my babycompare rewards action required. When will I be credited?

Once you’ve finished your survey, your credit should arrive in your account right away. The only exception is for more complex studies like product external promotions, studies and focus groups. In these cases, it may take up to 6 weeks after the study has closed for your credit to arrive.

How does Babycompare rewards work?

Every time you complete a product review or other action eligible for rewards, you’ll earn rewards credit. You can see the reward offered for each survey in your email or on the dashboard. Once you begin, you may be asked a series of short questions to confirm your identity. Simply answer each question in full to progress and complete the study.

Your reward will be automatically credited to your account when you finish the survey. Certain rewards (such as external promotions, studies and focus groups) may take up to 6 weeks to arrive. Remember, if you behave dishonestly, you may not be credited for the survey.

How do I check my balance?

To view your balance, just log in. Your current balance is displayed at the top of the screen.

I received an error when trying to redeem. What should I do?

We’re sorry that you’re experiencing difficulties with your rewards.

Here is a common list of issues that may effect your ability to redeem.

– Don’t redeem using a tablet or mobile device
– Only redeem in the country you registered
– Don’t use shared computers/Wi-Fi
